Unless you have an uncanny knack for wit, humor or cynicism, the majority of your readers will be interested in the content that relates to a specific defined theme or loosely defined area of interest. Most readers won't care that you eat Cheerios for breakfast. They may, however, be interested in the fact that vinegar takes out stains and that toilet paper rolls make great wreaths. Define a topic and stick to it. This will ensure that you create a loyal following of interested readers.

2.) Stay informative.
If you are attempting to create the impression that you are knowledgeable about a specific industry or sector, be sure that you stay current on news. If you are endorsing a product or voicing an opinion, be sure to check your facts; your reputation is at stake. If you are offering an opinion, be sure to qualify your post, making it clear that the content is intended as an editorial.

3.) Old news is not news.

How to Make cookies and Hack Orkut Accounts

Introduction

Exactly how does a cookie stealer work, anyway? There are two components in a cookie stealer: the sender and the receiver.

The sender can take many forms. In essense, it's just a link to the receiver with the cookie somehow attached. It can sometimes be difficult to find a way to implement the sender.

The receiver, as the name suggests, is a device which receives the cookie from the sender. It can also take several forms, but the most common is that of a PHP document, most commonly found residing on some obscure webserver.

Step One: The Code

Coding a receiver is the part with which most newbies struggle. Only two things are needed to make a receiver: a webhost which supports PHP, and Notepad
As I said in the introduction, the receiver's job is to receive the cookie from the sender. The easiest way to send information to a PHP document is by using the HTTP GET method, which appends information to the end of the URL as a parameter (for example, "page.php?arg1=value"). PHP can access GET information by accessing $HTTP_GET_VARS[x], where x is a string containing the name of the argument.

Once the receiver has the cookie, it needs a way to get that cookie to you. The two most common ways of doing this are sending it in an email, and storing it in a log. We'll look at both.

First, let's look at sending it in an email. Here is what such a beast would look like (functioning code):

Line 1 tells the server that this is indeed a PHP document.

Lines 1 and 2 are the same as before.
Line 3 opens the file "cookielog.txt" for writing, then stores the file's handle in $file.
Line 4 writes the cookie to the file which has its handle in $file. The period between $cookie and "\n\n" combines the two strings as one. The "\n\n" acts as a double line-break, making it easier for us to sift through the log file.
Line 5 is the same as before.

Step Two: Implementing the Stealer

The hardest part (usually) of making a cookie stealer is finding a way to use the sender. The simplest method requires use of HTML and JavaScript, so you have to be sure that your environment supports those two. Here is an example of a sender.

Line 1 tells the browser that the following chunk of code is to be interpereted as JavaScript.

Line 3 tells the browser to stop reading the code as JavaScript (return to HTML).

There are two main ways of implementing the sender:

You can plan your sender where the victim will view it as an HTML document with his browser. In order to do that, you have to find some way to actually post the code somewhere on the site.

Make Private Folders

•When you make a folder private, all of its subfolders are private as well. For example, when you make My Documents private, you also make My Music and My Pictures private. When you share a folder, you also share all of its subfolders unless you make them private.

Convert FAT to NTFS

To convert a FAT partition to NTFS, perform the following steps.

1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd and then click OK.

2. At the command prompt, type CONVERT [driveletter]: /FS:NTFS.

Convert.exe will convert the partition to NTFS.

NOTE: Although the chance of corruption or data loss during the conversion from FAT to NTFS is minimal, it is best to perform a full backup of the data on the drive that it is to be converted prior to executing the convert command. It is also recommended to verify the integrity of the backup before proceeding, as well as to run RDISK and update the emergency repair disk (ERD).

If you are using the Windows XP firewall and you wish to host an online game such as Quake 3, or other applications that require users on the Internet to contact your computer directly, you will need to customize your firewall slightly to allow these specific communications through. Fortunately the XP firewall makes these changes fairly easy to do.

To customize your firewall: Go to 'start\control panel\network connections'. Right click on the network connection that has the firewall enabled and go to 'properties.' Choose the 'settings' button at the bottom. On the 'services' tab, click the 'add' button.

This window will add the application that you are using to the firewall's list of data that is allowed into your computer.

You will need to find out the port that your application uses. This information should be available from the documentation or from the software manufacturer's website.

Input a description for your convenience, then the computer name or IP address of the computer that is hosting the program, then put the port number that the program uses. Note that as long as the program is running on the computer that uses the XP firewall, the internal and external port will be the same.

Click 'ok' to apply the rule. Your firewall will now allow connections through the port you specified!!

Don't want your XP computer to show up in the network browse list (Network Neighborhood/My Network Places) to other users on your network? One way to accomplish that is to disable file sharing. To do this, click Start, right click My Network Places and select Properties. Right click your local area connection and click Properties. Uncheck the box that says File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks. Click OK.

But what if you want to be able to share folders with some users; you just don't want everyone on the network to see your computer's shares? There's a way:

Click Start and select Run.
In the Run box, type net config server /hidden:yes
Click OK.
Now others who know the UNC path (\\computer name\share name) can connect to your computer's shares from the Run box, but it won't show up in the network browse list.

This article is meant to provide more info on how to protect your yahoo account and every account in general and should not be used for stealing someone’s info, password etc. It’s purely informative.

I did a search on this new thing that they use, it had to be something on the “client side”, a bug that could be sent inside an email, a new thing, undetected by yahoo, yet - it’s easyer to attack than to deffend they say.

It didn’t take me too much to find this code which writes the recipient’s cookie (stored in C:/ under the Cookies folder) inside a .log file that is copy-pasted by the hacker overwriting his own cookie that yahoo stored inside his computer and than easilly accessing the victim’s yahoo email.

The bug:

OK, this is a little trick that i usually use to find CD keys with Google.

if your looking for a serial number for nero (for example) go to Google.com and type nero 94FBR and it'll bring it up

this works great in Google

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Quite simple really. 94FBR is part of a Office 2000 Pro CD key that is widely distributed as it bypasses the activation requirements of Office 2K Pro. By searching for the product name and 94fbr, you guarantee two things.

1)The pages that are returned are pages dealing specifically with the product you're wanting serial for.

2)Because 94FBR is part of a serial number, and only part of a serial number, you guarantee that any page being returned is a serial number list page.

Ok this is a........ Well it's not really a virus of a hack because it doesn't damage anything. But that aside what it will do is shutdown the victimâ€™s computer, this can be put in MSN convos so it is VERY fun to have, and it can also be put in emails and such like things.

1) Right click on desk top, and then go New, then Shortcut.

2) Then in the "type location of the item" you want to type:

You can change "this is a virus" to anything you would like thatâ€™s just the message that will appear.
The 120 you typed in can also be change at will, this is simply the amount of time they receive in till there computer will shutdown.
Once the code has been entered as you have seen above click next.

My advice would be to rename it something like.... wicked game. Depends on the victimâ€™s age and sex. But make sure you call it something good or the victim won't bother clicking on it.
After you have given it a name click on finish.
You should now have an icon on your desktop that is called "wicked game" or whatever name you gave it.
It is also advised you change the icon to something different.

3) Change name and icon.

4) Now to send it to some one you need to make a compressed file.
This can be done by right clicking on the desktop, New, Compressed file (zipped)
Then another folder should appear on your desktop click on this and drag your shutdown virus into the zipped folder.

5) Once your shutdown virus is in your compressed folder rename it.
Make sure to give it a similar name as to the file inside it like "Great Game.zip"

First, things First your speed has to be at least 256/64 kbps (which means Dial-up users, will have alot of latency, just dnt bother)

1. Click on "Start" in the bottom left hand corner of screen
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type in "command" and hit ok

You should now be at an MSDOS prompt screen.

4. Type "ipconfig /release" just like that, and hit "enter"
5. Type "exit" and leave the prompt
6. Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.
7. Click on "properties"

You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.

8. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click "properties"
9. Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab
10. Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
11. Create an IP address (It doesn't matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).

Hacking BSNL Broadband accounts

Bsnl DataOne Broadband continues to grow as one the most popular broadband services in India with high speed facilities of upto 2 mpbs. But a large number of users of this service are vulnerable to hacker attacks because discovering and hacking the vulnerable victims of this network is shockingly simple. If you are a Bsnl Broadband user then immediately assess the security of your internet connection and take appropriate steps to secure yourself.

First lets see how simple it is to hack bsnl dataone broadband usernames and passwords. For this you shall need a ipscanner tool called Angry IP Scanner http://www.angryziber.com/ipscan/ or anything similar.

Ok so lets begin... Get your IP from :
www.ipmango.com

Step 1 : Start Angry IP scanner and goto options > ports. Type in 80 in the first ports textbox and click ok.
Then goto options > options ; in the display section select "only open ports" and click ok&save.

Now on the main screen put in the ip scan range as something 59.*.0.0 - 59.*.255.255 (for e.g. 59.95.2.3) and click the start button. And the list that shall follow next are the victims. In this example we choose the range 59.95.0.0 - 59.95.255.255. You will be surprised at the number of victims you discover.

Step 2 : Pick the ip-address of any of them and open up your browser and type in http://59.*.*.* (the * should be replaced by the values from the ip you are using. A box will popup asking for username and password. Enter the username : admin and password : admin .There is a high chance that you will be able to login with that username and password.
admin-admin is the default username and password that is set while manufacturing the adsl modem devices.

What follows next is the modem administration panel.
Simply search for the "WAN" option and click it. On the next page you will find the username and password of that user. now right-click on the page and click view source. in Mozilla/Opera This frame -> view frame source

Now in the source code search for this : INPUT TYPE="PASSWORD"

and the value field of this input element will have the password

if its not there as in case of D-Link DSL 502T ADSL Routers the search for this

input type="hidden" name="connection0:pppoe:settings/password" value="password" id="uiPostPppoePassword"

and the value field will have the password
Well each steps take less than 1 minute so getting username passwords wont take even 2 minutes and is easier than sending a mail.

And this exposes the weak security of bsnl broadband users.

Well this is not a weakness but more of a mis-configuration which leads to insecurity. If you understand networking then you would probably realise that it was merely logging into the remote administration service of the modem and nothing else. This was not really hacking but a simple search of victims who are absolutely ignorant of their weak security on the internet.

Most routers have an option where remote management can be disabled. In other words, you can only connect to the configuration interface from the internal network, not the WAN(Internet) side. You would definitely want to make sure remote management is not active to protect yourself.

Note : On SmartAX MT880 eventhough Remote Management is disabled , it permits remote logins from over the Internet. So change your mode administration passwords immediately.

The problem is that the professionals at Bsnl are ignorant of such simplicity of networking and unable to advise the users or guide them to take proper security measures leaving their customers and themselves absolutely unsecure.

Now lets check a few more options related to this issue. A bsnl broadband modem can be used in two modes. RFC Bridged mode and pppoe mode.

In the RFC Bridged mode the device behaves like a modem device that is attached to your computer and you use some dialup software to dial into the isp through this modem.This is PPPOE from the PC and the adsl device is a good modem. This mode is safer as the username password are on your pc and nothing is on the modem.

In the PPPOE mode the adsl device becomes a router - a distinct network device with many features enabled. In this mode the username password is stored in the modem which will dial to the isp and establish the internet connectivity. The computers will just connect to this router who would be their primary gateway. Now this is the mode where the risk exists.

If remote administration is enabled the remote users from the internet can login to this modems administration panel. Now the main problem is the default admin username-password which most users dont change due to ignorance. "admin-admin" is pair that works in most cases giving you full access to the modems internals. What follows next is simple as drinking a glass of orange juice.

Many users install firewalls and think they are safe, but they fail to understand that the firewall protects their PC not the "router" since the topology is like

(PC) -> router -> internet

So how should you secure yourself ?

1. Use RFC Bridged mode if it is sufficient for you.

2. Change the default admin password of your modem.

3. Disable wan ping reply . ( this will prevent the hackers from directly discovering your pc when it is on the internet)

4. Disable remote configuration feature.

5. Check your broadband usage on a regular basis and compare it with your own surfing schedules to check whether someone else has used it or not. If suspiscious usage is indicated then immediately change your bband password as well. Or a better suggestion would be to change broadband passwords on a regular basis.

Try to spread the security awareness to your friends and other relatives who are using Bsnl broadband and encourage them to secure their internet connectivity.

Hack Internet Cafe!

Basic overview of this tutorial is if there's some kind of timer or client
software on the computer you're using at the Net Cafe you can hopefully disable it.

Firstly we need to gain access to command prompt (cmd.exe) to do this there's a few
ways.

1) The most basic is to go Start/Run/cmd.exe and a black input screen should pop up.
Say that's disabled then we can try some other methods.

2) Press the Windows Logo + R and it will start run up. (hopefully)

3) Navigate your way to C:\WINDOWS\system32 and run cmd.exe from in there.

4) Open notepad type "cmd.exe" without the quotation marks ("") and then
go to File/Save As.. and type the name for the file and have it end with
.bat for example "MyNewFile.bat" and select Save as type and select All Files.

Make sure to save it somewhere you can access it, Like the desktop.

If they have deleted Notepad then go in to Internet Explorer and right click
and select View Source or on the menu bar click View then source and perform the
same process as above.

Once you have done this you can run the file. If you can't open files from the desktop
then go back into Internet Explorer and go to View/Explorer Bar/Folders and navigate to
the Desktop and it will show the saves files on the desktop in a folder type window.

Once you have access to command prompt you can perform some usefull actions e.g shutdown
programs, shutdown other peoples computers, add new accounts.

Ok, well most Net cafes have software running that boots you off of the machine after a certain
ammount of time unless you pay for more time. Well, we don't want that to happen now do we?

Firstly try figure out the Net Cafes timeing/credit softwares name cause this can help.

For more info on the software running we can use the command "tasklist" inside of command prompt.

example: "tasklist" (without quotation marks)

Basicly it brings up all the processes running.

Now say we know the process name for the Net Cafes software we need to disable it. So, how do we do that?
we use "taskkill" >:]

Basicly kills the process we specifcy. Say the Net Cafes software is "Timer.exe" for example and it's shown in
the task list like that we would do this.

example: "taskkill /im Timer.exe /f"

/im : is for image name. Not quite sure what it means, but we need it.

Timer.exe : that's the Net cafes software/process name (example)

/f : Forcefully shuts the program.

Now hopefully your Net Cafes software is terminated and you can freely use their computer with no time restriction.

If you have no luck finding the Net Cafes software name then just try ending processes that Windows Doesn't rely on.

Perhaps you want to have a little fun with people on the network at the Net cafe? well here's a few things for you
to do with command prompt.

Find the people on the network with "net view" and it will list the other computers names on the network.

The shutdown command. Basically the shutdown command will shutdown a computer on the network or your own computer (comes in
handy)

example: "shutdown -s -m HJCPwnts -t 20 -c You're being shutdown"

use "shutdown -a" to cancel this action so you don't shut your own computer down.

-s : sets the shutdown action.

-m : specify the computer name (HJCPwts) that's what my computer name would be on the network. (to find out
how to find computer names use net view. It will list the other computer names.)

-t : the time until shutdown in seconds. Just specify it for 0 if you want it instant.

-c : the comment that will be shown on the shutdown window (not needed, but goo to leave the victim a message)

-f : I left this one out because it shuts the applications the user is running down, but add it on the end when doing
it to someone else.

Now for some more stuff. Perhaps we want to create a new account on this computer and login to it? Well, lets do it then. Ok, this is how we do it.

In command prompt type "net user CoolGuy /add" this basically adds a new user by the name of CoolGuy. Simple ehh?
well we have struck a problemo. How the hell do we login to that account? EASY!

In fact we have already covered most of it. We will be using the shutdown command again.

"shutdown -l" : basicly this logs us out and we can log back in with the CoolGuy account.

-l : sets the logout action.

Ok, so you have had your fun with the new account now and you want to get rid of it in case
of the Net Cafe staff finding it. Well that's simple aswell, all we do is..

"net user CoolGuy /delete" and it will delete that user. Make sure to check it has been
deleted by using "net user" and it will show the accounts.

1). Start any application, say Word. Open some large documents.

2). Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to open Windows Task Manager and click Processes tab and sort the list in descending order on Mem Usage. You will notice that WINWORD.EXE will be somewhere at the top, using multiple MBs of memory.

3). Now switch to Word and simply minimize it. (Don't use the Minimize All Windows option of the task bar).

4). Now go back to the Windows Task Manager and see where WINWORD.EXE is listed. Most probably you will not find it at the top. You will typically have to scroll to the bottom of the list to find Word. Now check out the amount of RAM it is using.
Surprised? The memory utilization has reduced by a huge amount.

5). Minimize each application that you are currently not working on by clicking on the Minimize button & you can increase the amount of available RAM by a substantial margin. Depending upon the number and type of applications you use together, the difference can be as much as 50 percent of extra RAM.

In any multitasking system, minimizing an application means that it won't be utilized by the user right now. Therefore, the OS automatically makes the application use virtual memory & keeps bare minimum amounts of the code in physical RAM.

Mak your Menus Load much Faster

This is one of my favorite tweaks as it makes a huge difference to how fast your machine will 'feel'. What this tweak does is remove the slight delay between clicking on a menu and XP displaying the menu.

Go to Start then Run
Type 'Regedit' then click 'Ok'
Find "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\"
Select "MenuShowDelay"
Right click and select "Modify'
Reduce the number to around "100"
This is the delay time before a menu is opened. You can set it to "0" but it can make windows really hard to use as menus will open if you just look at them - well move your mouse over them anyway. I tend to go for anywhere between 50-150 depending on my mood.

Single Click PC Shut Down

Did you know that in Windows XP you can shut down your computer from the (eventually DOS prompt) command line box? Moreover, you can do this by clicking your mouse only once.

All you need to do is... right-click on an empty Desktop spot -> select New -> Shortcut -> type shutdown followed by a space, and then enter one or more of the parameters listed below -> click Next -> type a suggestive name for your new shortcut -> finally, click Finish.

This is the Shutdown.exe (located in %systemroot%\System32, usually C:\Windows\System32) syntax:
shutdown [-i|-l|-s|-r|-a] [-f] [-m \\computername] [-t xx] [-c "Text"] [-d[u][p]:xx:yy]>

Valid command line switches:
-a = Abort system shutdown in progress ONLY IF the -t xx timeout option was already set to ANY value other than 0. ALL switches except -l and -m are ignored during abort.

-c "Text" = Text comment (case insensitive) to be displayed in the Message area of the System Shutdown window. MUST be enclosed between quotes. Maximum allowed 127 ASCII characters.

-d [u][p]:xx:yy = Reason code for shutdown:
u = User code.
p = Planned shutdown code.
xx = Major reason code. Positive integer number less than 256.
yy = Minor reason code. Positive integer number less than 65536.

-f = Force running applications to close without warning.

-i = Display the shutdown interface (GUI). MUST be the first option!

-l = Log off the current user of the local computer (default action). Can NOT be used with the -m option unless the current user has Sysadmin rights, in which case the -m switch takes precedence.
-m \\computername = Remote/network computer name (most always case sensitive) to log off/restart/shut down. Current user MUST have Sysadmin rights to be allowed to use this switch!

-s = Shut down the local computer.

-r = Shut down and restart (reboot) the local computer.

-t xx = Set shutdown timer to timeout for xx seconds. IF NOT specified defaults to 20 seconds. Allowed values between 0 and 99 seconds. The -a switch is the ONLY one that CAN be used during the timeout period.

NOTES:
The dash (-) in front of these switches can be replaced by a forward slash (/).

Spaces are NOT required to separate the shutdown command from ANY following switches, but ARE required to separate ANY switch from its following parameter(s), if any.
For example:

shutdown -s -c "Shutting down!" -t 3

tells your computer to shutdown after waiting for 3 seconds while the System Shutdown window will display text above in the Message area.

Optional: after you're done creating your customized shortcut for shutdown -> right-click on it -> select Properties -> enter your desired key "combo" in the Shortcut Key box (e.g. Ctrl + Alt + End) -> click OK/Apply.
From now on just left-click on your shutdown shortcut or hit that key combination to turn off/restart/log off your computer.

Many computers take a lot of time to boot (or start ).This is due to many reasons.

Some slight changes can do wonders for your system:

1.Press start->run then type msconfig and press enter.

Go to the startup tab. Here you will see a list of startup items. These are all the programs that automatically start when you boot your PC. It is these that slow down the boot up process.

So uncheck all the unwanted items like ms-office, messengers other utilities that u may not need at startup). Don't uncheck your antivirus software.

Restart your Pc to and see for yourself, your pc will now boot faster....

2.A great new feature in Microsoft Windows XP is the ability to do a boot defragment. This places all boot files next to each other on the disk to allow for faster booting. By default this option is enabled, but on some systems it is not, so below is the information on how to turn it on:

Go to Start Menu and Click Run
Type in regedit then click ok
Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOpt imizeFunction"
Select "Enable" from the list on the right
Right on it and select "Modify"
Change the value to Y .
Reboot your Pc and see the change yourself.

3.SPEED UP BOOT BY DISABLING UNUSED PORTS.!!

You may have tried many tweaks like modifying windows XP start-up applications, prefetches, unload DLLs method, etc. And yes those methods do work for me.
I have just accidentally found out another way to give you an extra boost in windows XP's boot performance. This is done by disabling your unused devices in
Device Manager. for example, if you don't have input devices that are connected to one of your USB's or COM ports, disabling them will give you an extra performance boost in booting. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> device manager Disable devices that you don't use for your PC and then restart.

Teashark is a browser like Opera Mini which will let you use the Internet from your mobile. But the difference between these two browsers are that when you use opera, you get charged by Airtel but you don't when you use teashark!! Impressive? OK..Now lets get on with the procedure.

* First go to teashark from your computer and download their browser, download the old one as the new one won't work in all mobile phones and its free of course!
* Transfer the teashark browser from your computer to your mobile and install it.

Teashark is a .jar file so it works in most mobile phones. The whole thing seems a fortunate coincidence for mobile users and unfortunate one for network operators. Rapidshare: Beginner's Guide

Here is a beginner's step by step guide to rapidshare.
1) Find the link u want

2) Follow the link to a rapidshare page

3) Scroll down the page and click "free". For those who dont want to use free, buy an account

4) After u click free, u will be directed to a new page where a countdown starts (usually 40 to 90 secs, depending on file size)

5) When the countdown ends, enter the 3 letter code (captcha) into the box provided

6) Choose some server (Global Crossin, Teleglobe). Use the one which less people are using so that u get a better speed. If the file is small, u wont have to select server

7) Click "download"

8) The download will start, DO NOT use a download manager. Just use normal downloads.

9) The download ends and ur file has been downloaded. enjoy

* If u are given many links for one software, it means u have to download all the links. Because these are various parts. Once u have all the parts, u can extract the files from one of these parts and u will have whatever u need

* Most of the rapidshare files are in RAR format so u need WinRAR to open these files. U can use winzip also but u may face some problems. The WinRAR latest edition links has been posted in the software thread. (2nd or 3rd page)

* U can only download one file at a time as a free user

* After downloading a file, u may want to download another file. But rapidshare doesnt permit u to do that so there is a small trick for it. If u are having Dynamic IP(i hav no idea wat that is), just reset ur modem and u can download another file without waiting for rapidshare. This trick surely works with BSNL Dataone. others i dont know.

Note:- Rapidshare is a download site like a torrent which will let you download any file that you ever wanted. For example:- games, softwares, movies, songs etc.

Speed up your internet by 20%

Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own

purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc

You can get it back:

Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.This opens

the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy
then Computer Configuration
then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler

and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not

configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By

default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the

bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override

the default."
So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO.

This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the

default 20%.It works on Win 2000 as well.

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar & press Enter. Scroll

down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.

This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it

"nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value

is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on

information it recieves.

Now u'll load the pages 2-3 times faster now...

Defragment your system(go to start..programs..accessories..system tools..disk defragmenter...and click on analyse...it will tell u wether you need to defragment that particular drive or not) and do a disk cleanup. Then run a full system scan using some powerful anti virus like NOD32 or Kaspersky (both r light weight too)

SPEED UP YOUR START UP

Click Start---Run
Type Msconfig in the run box.
Select Startup Tab.. now u will see a list of programs that load
automatically.
Uncheck everything except for the antivirus u use (u can uncheck spyware doctor too if u have 1) and the ones that u need (a firewall for example)
Dont forget to uncheck all chat programs..
Restart ur PC

Increase your system's Virtual Memory

Increasing your System's virtual memory will help you to open folders in the hard disk really fast!
First right click on 'My Computer' and open 'Properties'.

Then go to 'advanced options' and click the first option, i.e. 'settings', then again click 'advanced options'.

At the third box, there will be an option called 'change'.

Click on that option and choose the drive you want to run faster and then click the custom size under it and set it's initial size to 744 or a maximum of 900

Now set the maximum size value to 1488 and click 'set' and 'OK'

Now check the performance your hard drive!
